Publicis chooses Microsoft to inject artificial intelligence into 'Marcel' collaboration platform

Publicis has selected Microsoft as the technology partner to deliver a collaboration platform called Marcel. The new initiative, led by the company’s technology and consulting arm Publicis.Sapient, aims to use artificial intelligence to transform the way its workforce can interact and share knowledge across the globe. Publicis, which employs nearly 80,000 professionals across over 100 countries, said that it has already been testing the concept via M-Labs, an incubator project on which Marcel will be developed.

Microsoft will build the platform incorporating Azure and Office 365 capabilities. The two partners will present Marcel for the first time at the Viva Technology event, taking place in Paris between 24 and 26 May.
